Two-Way Nylon Pellet Prevailing-Torque Locknut
The PEL-LOC™ is an all-metal fastener designed to provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection across various applications. This locknut features a nylon pellet positioned at the center of the nut, which extends throughout the wall of the two-way nut, creating the necessary frictional thread interference to lock the nut.
The PEL-LOC™ locknut is engineered to maintain joint integrity under conditions involving continuous heavy vibration, shock, extreme temperatures, and numerous loading cycles. The nylon pellet creates a light-friction locking feature, ensuring that the nut remains securely fastened without the need for additional locking devices.
